• You are a graduate/post graduate in mechanical engineering 

• You have min 15 years experience in management and supervision of drilling operations and have worked in the capacity of Tool Pusher or Rig  Superintendent 

• You will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for safe and efficient rig operations and for ensuring, through planning, that resources are utilized in the most  efficient way.  You  will thus work closely with the client, and together with  the rig's senior  crew foster a  safe  working environment  onboard, and identify and  implement best practices for efficient  operations.

• Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English Language A MUST

You will be handling key responsibilities: 

• Directly report to the management 

• Fully conversant with the bidding process of drilling contracts in Indonesia 

• Liaise and maintain good working relationship with client 

• Specific and exhaustive co‐ordination with the client to design and implement drilling programs 

• Daily operation of the drilling rig 

• Daily interface with the client 

• Rig's operating budget and cost control 

• Coordinate logistics and planning associated with the rig operation 

• Ensure that the rig is maintained in compliance with the existing standards  and  requirements of  the flag state, classification  society, local  authorities and client 

• Carry out inspections and monitor records to ensure an efficient rig operation 

• Maintain the appropriate environmental protection measures
